Vision- Guide Students Toward Their Digital Future
 The North Digital Media Program focuses on preparing students for their digital future in audio and media. We are within the Arts and Media Program (Digital Audio, Video and Graphics) and the Digital Media Learning Facility.
We seek to prepare students for the 21st century with communications skills. The North Digital Media Program is designed to guide students into 21st century Creative Design Careers. The Program is taught by a team of professional teachers and support staff, all with the goal of being an educational center for Digital production.
The design for the Digital Media program at North Community School focuses on several core digital media components:
*Digital Video Media- use DV and HDTV tools to create distribute digital video projects on DVD (or newer format!), streaming and Pod casting on the web and over newer wirelessformats.
*Digital Audio and Music Production - using desktop tools to create and distribute audio and music projects broadcast, posting on ipod or web, streaming on the web or for CD (or newer format!)
*Digital Graphic Design - using integrated digital desktop tools to create and distribute graphic projects through desktop publishing, print formats, display, as well as digital page layout for the web.
*Animation - 3D Design - as the program builds, we may offer video gaming graphics and 3D image rendering as well as simulations to build on the popularity of video game graphics and animation.
*Versatile Digital Media Literacy - as the program builds, we may offer video gaming graphics and 3D image rendering as well as simulations to build on the popularity of video game graphics and animation. Please view the project links to the right!
